Russell Williams brings a 25-year track record of success in private equity, corporate development, and strategic planning. Prior to starting Green Peak Capital Partners, he led teams ranging from thematic design and deal origination, to corporate development and strategy at both public and private corporations.
Most recently, Russell served as Vice President at Compass Group Equity Partners, a private equity firm located in St. Louis, Missouri. His primary responsibilities were thematic design, deal origination, and investor cultivation closing 8 transactions spanning 4 platforms since 2014. Russell’s thematic vision led to investments in electronics manufacturing services, industrial automation, food ingredient production, and an organically built platform of Midwestern-based veterinarian hospitals.
Earlier in his career Russell served as Sr. Director of International Business Operations at Aegion Corporation (NASDAQ: AEGN), where he was responsible for the Latin American and Asian operations of the company’s Commercial and Structural business segment. During his tenure at Aegion, he led corporate development and business integration activities for all domestic and international acquisitions.
Russell received his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honors society. He also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri.

Andrew is an investment professional with fifteen years of experience of direct investing in middle market companies. Primarily focused on industrial and energy sectors, Andrew began his career in investment banking with First Union Securities, Inc. in Charlotte, NC and Los Angeles, CA where he worked on both M&A buy-side assignments for corporate clients as well as sell-side engagements for founders looking to transition ownership to private equity investors.
After First Union, Andrew worked in corporate development and strategy roles for both public and private companies aiming to diversify their assets and end market exposure. He has extensive experience executing global inorganic growth initiatives in both the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Since 2018, Andrew has served as Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy for HBM Holdings Company, an investment and management firm in St. Louis, MO focusing on a long-term buy and build approach to operating companies within their portfolio. In this role, Andrew is responsible for developing the firm’s investment strategy and overseeing its execution.
Andrew holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an MA in International Economics from John Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Political Science from Davidson College. He and his wife have three young children and reside in the St. Louis area.
Mike is an engineering and manufacturing executive with extensive experience bringing products to life from conceptual design through product launch. Throughout his professional career, Mike has developed over 200 different products for a diverse group of industries including aerospace, respiratory protection, medical devices, sporting goods, consumer products, and industrial equipment.
After earning a degree in Physics from Knox College, Mike began his career at a St. Louis-based aerospace and medical device manufacturer as Director of New Product Development. He led teams that produced critical components such as Hands On Throttles and Sticks (HOTAS), fuel control valves, emergency escape breathing devices, and oxygen control valves. Through this experience Mike worked closely with regulatory authorities including the FAA, FDA, and NIOSH NPPTL.
Mike went on to become the General Manager of a cut and sew manufacturing plant that developed products for the United States Air Force, commercial airlines and various sporting good lines. His hands-on experience implementing lean and continuous improvement manufacturing principles throughout the manufacturing and inventory control process. Mike most recently served as Vice President of Engineering for a Power Electronics manufacturer of Battery Test equipment for Electric Vehicles.
Mike received his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, and lives with his wife and three children in the St. Louis area.
